How to Use Instagram Direct

What is Instagram Direct?

Instagram Direct is a private messaging feature that allows you to send messages, photos, and videos to other Instagram users.

You can also use Instagram Direct to create and join group chats with up to 25 people.

How to Use Instagram Direct

To use Instagram Direct, you must first create an Instagram account.

Once you have an account, you can access Instagram Direct by tapping on the paper airplane icon in the top right corner of the Instagram app.

This will open the Instagram Direct inbox, where you can see all of your messages.

Sending a Message

To send a message, tap on the "New Message" button in the top right corner of the Instagram Direct inbox.

Then, enter the name of the person you want to send a message to.

You can also choose to send a message to a group chat by tapping on the "Create Group" button.

Sending a Photo or Video

To send a photo or video, tap on the camera icon in the bottom left corner of the Instagram Direct message composer.

Then, select the photo or video you want to send.

You can also use the camera to take a new photo or video to send.

Receiving a Message

When you receive a message, you will see a notification in the top right corner of the Instagram app.

Tap on the notification to open the message.

You can also access your messages by tapping on the paper airplane icon in the top right corner of the Instagram app.

Replying to a Message

To reply to a message, simply tap on the message and type your reply.

Then, tap on the "Send" button.
