After a lengthy negotiation process, the Los Angeles Dodgers have officially re-signed third baseman Justin Turner to a two-year contract worth $34 million. The deal, which was announced on the eve of Spring Training, includes an additional team option for the 2023 season.
In addition to the $34 million guaranteed, Turner will receive an $8 million signing bonus. The contract also includes performance incentives based on plate appearances and defensive WAR, providing the veteran infielder with the opportunity to earn additional compensation beyond his base salary.
