The Suns' victory improves their record to 34-29 on the season. They are now in sixth place in the Western Conference standings, just one game behind the fifth-place Los Angeles Lakers.
The Timberwolves fall to 31-32 on the season. They are now in ninth place in the Western Conference standings, two games behind the eighth-place Golden State Warriors.
